Landing in hot waters is not a new affair for the Warriors star Draymond Green. Despite helping the Golden State dynasty win four championships, Green has generated quite a lot of backlash over the years for his outspoken behavior. Recently, the veteran defender indulged in a reckless antic on the court, during the Dubs’ first round matchup with the Sacramento Kings. The 4x-NBA champion faced a lot of backlash for his actions. Moments before the Warriors’ losing battle came to a conclusion, the Kings’ Domantas Sabonis tried to position himself under the rim, eyeing a potential rebound from Malik Monk, who was going for a layup. Sabonis, however, got knocked to the ground. In an attempt to cover his face, the Kings’ star locked up Draymond Green’s legs. Green got away from Sabonis after stomping the latter on his chest. The opponent’s stomp prompted Sabonis to undergo X-Rays for his chest and lungs.

The violent antic had also incited Kings’ supporters to jeer at Draymond Green. Dray, however, remained unfazed and yelled back at the infuriated lot. Since Green’s infamous conduct is getting more attention than the Warriors loss, basketball buffs have swarmed in on the internet to let out their take on the stomping. However, Green has already given his version of the story saying his legs got grabbed two times. Now, the 4x-NBA champion has taken to Instagram to make another claim and defend his conduct.
