“Wait, You’re Seriously Pregnant?”: Michael Jordan Was Left in Utter Disbelief After Daughter Jasmine’s Major News Before the Last Dance

For the world, Michael Jordan is an untouchable phenomenon. But for his family, he is just the man they love, fight and make memories with. They understand his greatness, they appreciate it. But for them, basketball is his job, that he loves dearly – no more and nothing less. Maybe that’s why, when his children speak about him, people realize that MJ is also human. 

Michael Jordan and his family lived their daily lives in the public eye. But MJ did everything in his power to protect his children and keep his life as a father private. Now his children have launched themselves into the world and they are talking about MJ as a father and a family man. 

Michael Jordan and the father’s intuition 

In an interview a couple of years ago, MJ’s daughter Jasmine Jordan spoke about MJ’s superpower – the father’s intuition. Jasmine believes that MJ always has a hunch about something that may be coming his way. The news of Jasmine’s engagement and subsequently her pregnancy was not surprising for MJ. He simply had a hunch. 

During the interview, she admitted, “I called him and said, ‘Did mom tell you?’ He was like, ‘Wait, you’re seriously pregnant!’ I’m like, ‘Yes, I’m pregnant!’ It was the craziest conversation.” Jasmine was shocked that MJ saw this coming. Despite being accurate with his ‘feeling’, MJ was in disbelief that he was becoming a grandfather.

Jasmine realized that MJ had no clue or hint about her pregnancy – he just knew, he had a feeling. “He just always knows when myself or my brothers have something to let him know, and he beats us to the punch.” she added.

Realizing who her father was 

For the longest time, Jasmine didn’t understand the hype around her father. The obsession around her father was confusing. She realised who MJ was to the world with age and a little assistance from google. 

When asked about how she would tell her newborn about his family’s legacy, Jasmine had a very well-thought-out answer. She believes that until her son initiates the conversation, her focus will be on letting him know that they are blessed, privileged and nothing can be taken for granted.
