The Lakers couldn’t get their second road win as they lost to the Heat. Miami took control from the opening quarter itself, taking a huge lead and never letting go. For the purple and gold outfit, it was once again the supporting cast that failed to deliver.

The Lakers never really made their mark in the game as they fell into a deep deficit early in the game. Moreover, the Heat kept coming at the Lakers and did not take a wrong step. However, the Lakers made a commanding effort in the fourth quarter and cut the game close. Adebayo also rejected the King to a layup and had NBA Twitter on fire.

Despite the fight, the Lakers couldn’t successfully complete the comeback. LeBron James finished with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists to lead the Lakers. Russell Westbrook was also impressive and put up 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists. However, apart from this duo, no one really hit it off. Two of the starters failed to score a single point while only two other players crossed double figures.

For the Heat, they came out dominating right off the bat. They led by 19 until the fourth quarter began. They almost let the game slip as they won by just 6 points in the end. Duncan Robinson had his shooting mode on as he added 25 points while making 6 threes. Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler combined for 34 points and Miami improve to 30-17 for the season.
