Michael Jordan is famous for many things. His NBA career, his immense basketball talent, him staying in air for an unusual amount of seconds- more than everybody else or his competitiveness. Michael Jordan?s jump shots were a thing of beauty. Many people have and will keep on trying to emulate how Michael used to swish that orange ball into that basket and make the crowd go wild. However, probably no one would ever succeed in copying Michael completely. His game sense, his desire to win and his performing in clutch moments were just inevitable.

Even all these things don?t sum up what all people love Jordan for on the basketball court. Off that court, MJ became the richest athlete with a current net worth of around $1.7 billion. Recently another NBA owner, much different from Michael showed off his basketball skills at the age of 64. The owner of Dallas Mavericks, billionaire Mark Cuban trained last night for almost three hours. He is not just another billionaire owning a sports franchise. He loves the game and he is enticed entirely by it.

It was evident that his dedication to basketball is unreal. Even after 3 hours he didn?t want to leave the court. Taking shots in similar fashion as Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan invested in the Charlotte Hornets in 2010. Whereas businessman Mark Cuban became the owner of the Dallas Mavericks way back in 2000. Interestingly, Michael also had some part of ownership of the Washington Wizards. Michael came back from retirement for 2 more seasons to play for the team he had invested in.

Michael Jordan?s net worth now stands at a mighty $1.7 billion. Mark Cuban on the other hand, being the businessman he has been for more than two decades is worth around $4.6 billion. Michael is the richest retired athlete in the world. Whereas Mark is one the richest people in the entire sporting world.
