After what looked like another disappointing first half, the Los Angeles Lakers transformed into one of the best teams in the second half against the Sacramento Kings. Not only did they have a blowout victory 117-92 victory over the Kings, but they also did it without LeBron James, who entered health and safety protocols after testing positive.
Despite their largest margin victory of the season, there was one person that head coach Frank Vogel wasn’t pleased with. And this footage of Vogel and DeAndre Jordan is the only proof we need to know that.

The Lakers were pretty much futile during the first half of the game. They were trailing by double digits for the most part of it and even gave up 59 points to the Sacramento Kings. However, Russell Westbrook caught fire in the second half. Not only was he dropping buckets himself, but also helped Anthony Davis get back into rhythm.
Let’s not forget, their role players like Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, and Malik Monk also had one of their best games in a long time. However, Dwight had to take over for DeAndre Jordan in the second half, since Jordan was nowhere near his best. And because of that, Vogel benched him. In fact, the two were seen having a heated conversation on the sidelines.

Can the Lakers keep their head above water without LeBron James?
Since the backbone of the team, LeBron James will miss more games, the Lakers can’t get fazed. And for Vogel to be pissed at Jordan made sense because they can’t afford any slip-ups. If they had lost their matchup against the Kings, they never would have heard the end of it.
And each one of them needs to put their best foot forward, as AD and Russ did with their 25 and 23-point performances. We all saw the impact Bron’s absence had on the team when he had missed eight games because of his abdominal injury. At this point, nobody knows how long he could be out. So, they need to be prepared for the worst.
