Jayson Tatum is one game away from reaching the NBA Finals after winning game 5 in Miami. The Celtics ran riot in the second half as they take a 3-2 series lead. And Tatum came up big after getting head-butted by Bam Adebayo, and he got his revenge on Bam by spanking him on another play.

It was the third quarter, and Jayson Tatum had the ball on the fast break. Duncan Robinson fouled him to prevent the break, and Tatum was recovering from that. As he was walking, Bam, who was running behind, came up and hit in the back. Tatum did not like that one bit, and he went back and forth with Bam. The Heat player also stood his ground, and he wasn’t backing down. Then he proceeded to headbutt Tatum in the face, after which Tatum pushed Bam away. Both these players were very lucky not be called for a technical.

And later in the fourth, Tatum got his revenge. The Celtics were up by 12, and Tatum drove in and kicked the ball out to Al Horford. Horford drove in, which attracted Bam as well before throwing it back to Tatum. The Celtics superstar then hit the three over Bam and he spanked Bam on his way back.

Jayson Tatum and the Celtics dominated the second half

The game was very close until the half as both teams went back and forth. But the Heat took a 5 point lead at the half. They were playing very well and looked to seal this game. But the Celtics had other ideas.

They came out of the half on fire as they evaporated the Heat’s lead in minutes. They then built a double-digit lead by the end of the third. The Heat had another miserable quarter as they shot 16% from the field. The Celtics continued their onslaught in the fourth as they built a 23 point lead at one point.

Tatum had 22 while Jaylen Brown ended with 25 points. Bam was the top scorer for the Heat with 18 points, as the others had a miserable outing. They will play game 6 with the series on the line and they will have a very hostile crowd to deal with in Boston.
