Joining the jubilations of affection and gratitude, Vanessa Bryant shared a picture and video of the love of her life, late NBA Legend Kobe Bryant. Her refreshing post proved to be a warm expression of fondness and received immense support from the NBA Community.

Vanessa Bryant and the NBA’s love for Kobe

First, she shared a picture of the two dressed in athletic attire paired with shades. The duo smiled from ear to ear while sitting on a pool bed. She paired this picture with a caption that read, “Happy Valentine’s Day Boo-Boo. Forever & Always.” Vanessa included a heart emoji in this message. Sympathetic responses and affirmations of support immediately poured in.

Kobe’s fellow legend Shaquille O’Neal‘s ex-wife Shaunie, model Naomi Campbell and WNBA Star Sabrina Ionescu are some of the notable people who adorned the post with comments, using the red heart emoji. WNBA Star Candace Parker showed her support by liking the picture. The rest of the NBA Community ensured that the comments section was flooded with purple and red hearts. Many wrote that what Vanessa and Kobe shared was “external love” while some wished the Bryant family a happy Valentine’s Day.

Kobe Bryant’s message on love

Vanessa followed her post by sharing a fan-edited video of the five-time NBA Champion. In the video, Kobe speaks about love and describes it as ‘happiness’. He says that the notion of love is akin to going on a beautiful journey, stating that “Things are never perfect, but through love, you continue to persevere.”

The video continues along the same lines and includes pictures of the Bryants. Kobe goes on to express that for him, love involves the quality of determination. His words echo the feelings shared by the world’s lovers on V-day, “A persistence to go through the good times and the bad times with someone or something that you truly love.”

Kobe Bryant and Vanessa fell in love when the two were barely 20 years old. They first met on a video-production set in 1999. Two years later, they tied the knot and continued to celebrate their love. Through the years, they became parents to four daughters and constantly shared pictures of the family online. On 14th February, three years after the heart-shattering demise of the NBA Legend, Vanessa continues to shower love on her late husband.
