Incidentally, Heath?s city of choice is Seattle, but in the absence of the SuperSonics in the NBA, he likes to branch out his support to other teams and superstars.

Phil Heath mentioned how besides LeBron James, his favorite player is a $225 million superstar who has been dominating the league for years now. Health also appreciated the NBA superstar’s loyalty to the Portland Trail Blazers, which is the closest team to the bodybuilder’s hometown.

?I like Dame Dolla [Damian Lillard] man. He?s a dawg bro,? said Heath. He further added, ?he?s sticking with Portland, that?s like the closest team from my hometown that I can rock with.??

Damian Lillard and his recent $225 Million contract with the Portland Trail Blazers was a hot topic for many days. People had mixed reactions to Dame D.O.L.L.A?s decision as many thought he?d be wasting his golden years in Portland. On the other hand, many appreciated his loyalty to the side.

Heath also mentioned how he likes many teams in the NBA, mentioning how he was a season ticket holder for the Denver Nuggets. The iconic bodybuilder also showed respect to the other superstars in the league, like Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Heath will compete in the upcoming Mr. Olympia tournament.

Meanwhile, Shanon Sharpe asked Phil Heath about his preferences outside bodybuilding. Sharpe being an NFL legend himself asked Heath about his favorite team in football. Heath explained how he has a couple of teams as his favorite, the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.?

The Portland side would be pretty happy with their current position in the league. The Blazers are currently in the fifth position in their conference, compared to last season?s 13th-placed finish.
