After the blockbuster deal on the trade deadline day, Ben Simmons found himself in Brooklyn alongside Durant and Irving. With this trade, the Nets hope to win it all this season.

Along with Simmons, the Nets also received Seth Curry and Andre Drummond, which further strengthened their squad. Upon completion of the trade, episode 5 of ‘The Bridge’ captured behind-the-scenes moments after the arrival of Simmons, Curry, and Drummond. Moreover, fans were ecstatic to see Simmons, along with KD and Kyrie.

The Simmons-Harden Trade

The Simmons-Harden trade gave both the 76ers and the Nets exactly what they needed. For the Nets, Simmons fits in as a playmaker and a strong defender. Although he lacks the shooting prowess as that of Harden, Simmons is exactly what the Nets need in order to support KD and Kyrie. Additionally, the trade allowed the Nets to receive Seth Curry and Andre Drummond. This provides a strong scoring and rebounding boost for the team.

As for the 76ers, they have received a strong leader in Harden. The ‘Beard’ has brought his scoring skills along with his passing and rebounding to Philly. This has benefitted the team immensely. Clearly, both teams look strong enough to vie for the title. Furthermore, fan bases of both franchises will hope that their squads are healthy come playoff time. The sky is truly the limit for the Nets and 76ers.
