The Los Angeles Lakers have been on their best run this season. The 17 times have won five of their last six games, including an ongoing three-game winning streak. Moreover, the purple and gold have slowly looked to get back to their full power with superstars returning from injury. One of them was LeBron James who returned from a groin injury. However, the King seems to be in lingering danger as he nearly suffered the most common basketball injury.

The Lakers won their last game against the San Antonio Spurs much to James having his best night of the season. Playing without a dominant Anthony Davis, the Akron Hammer stepped up for the Lakers. He went nuclear scoring 39 points to go with 11 rebounds and 3 assists. Likewise, the 37-year-old seemed to have found his rhythm.

The opening quarter against the Indiana Pacers tonight was no different for James. Scoring in double figures, the 18-time All-Star gave headway to a Laker lead. However, he also gave the fans an injury scare once again.
