38-year-old NBA superstar LeBron James is currently in his 20th season and proving with every game that age is just a number. However, it is only a matter of time before the Los Angeles Lakers superstar announces his retirement. While there are no reports of his impending retirement yet, King James’ desire to play his last season with his son Bronny has set an unofficial retirement date. Bronny is not yet eligible to enter the NBA Draft until 2024 but new reports suggest LeBron might not have to wait till that time to fulfill his wish.

However, there is still one more season left before Bronny can enter the draft, which means King James will have to wait for about two more years before his wish can finally come true.

LeBron James Jr., aka Bronny, is currently in his senior year at Sierra Canyon High School and will soon leave for college. The 18-year-old point guard has received offers from multiple universities namely USC, Duke, North Carolina, Oregon, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Kansas, and Memphis. Although, according to The Los Angeles Times, Bronny has already narrowed it down to three colleges – Ohio State, Oregon, and USC.

Since there is still a year left before he can try out for the NBA, Bronny will also have to choose the destination to play basketball during that time. The National Basketball League is reportedly eager to recruit the millionaire basketball star and is trying its best to convince Bronny to sign with them. The NBL is Australia’s top pro league and their ‘Next Stars’ program recruits young players who are deemed legitimate draft prospects in the next season.
