Months have passed, the off-season has ended, but Kyrie Irving continues to remain on the sidelines. After a rough patch last season which was filled with injuries and disappointment, it looked like he was set for a spectacular return. Along with Kevin Durant and James Harden, he was ready to tear the league apart in 2021-22. On the contrary, he hasn’t played a single game so far. What’s up with Kyrie Irving?

Owing to a personal decision after the previous campaign ended, the Brooklyn Nets and Irving have not been on the same page. Though the franchise refused to change their stance, the 29-year-old insisted on making a return to the black squad. Yet, it was not meant to be. After the Nets officially announced that they will not be allowing him to participate, he has been out of action permanently. Adding to the mystery, the former Celtics star has been posting suspicious images ever since. And Monday was no different.

NBA fans lash out yet again as Kyrie Irving posts another confusing image

Ever since his exit became unavoidable, the 7-time All-star has been posting a set of cryptic images on social media. If anything, he is trying to indicate that he will be back stronger eventually. In his decade-long career, Kyrie has averaged close to 23 points. In his latest post, the Cavaliers great has posted a peculiar image of a bald man. In fact, the image is of none other than Matrix character Morpheus.

Reacting to the post, many fans came in support of Kyrie. They stated that his time would come, provided he is patient. On the other hand, a large section of the comments were filled with confusion and annoyance. While one fan directly told the veteran to “Go play”, another claimed that Kyrie’s Instagram was a meme page. What do you make of his cryptic posts?
