The Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman has long been shrouded in his bad-boy image. Coincidentally, the 5x NBA Champion played his rookie season for the Bad Boys Detriot Pistons. During his career, The Worm found himself amid a million-dollar debt, and ironically, after his retirement, he involved himself in many charity works. Similarly, Rodman once engaged in a charity H-O-R-S-E game for a noble cause with a Columbia University Professor in New York.
The H-O-R-S-E game is a popular backyard game with a minimum of two players. The game involves the players duplicating the baskets shot by the first player. The player collects a letter from the word ‘H-O-R-S-E’ for every missed attempt. The game continues until a player accumulates all five letters.

In an interview with Dennis Rodman in 2013, Sports Illustrated reported various events from The Worm’s life while the legend did his day’s work. During the interview, the Bulls legend reached Basketball City, an indoor facility in New York, for a charity H-O-R-S-E game with Joe Terwilliger, a professor from Columbia University.
Terwilliger earned the opportunity to play against the legend by winning an online bid of $2350. Rodman helped to raise the bid amount for a Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation center.

The duo shared a couple of words before the game, and the professor went on attempting the shots alone after Rodman gave up early. Terwilliger presented a memento and appreciated the legend for his work in North Korea before he left the arena.
The Worm’s $2 Million worth boat for a charity
Rodman raised $26,000 for charity through a celebrity experience auction. A fan bid a whooping $26k to spend a day with the legend. The deal also included a ride in Rodman’s $2 Million worth boat in Miami. The experience further enabled the fan to have lunch with The Worm and take a ride in their preferred Lamborghini lined up in the garage.
