Furthermore, according to Shams Charania, Lillard ?wants to be there, and he wants that team to get better? He continued, “So they have the number three pick in the draft. They have the number, I think 23rd pick in the draft. They have Anthony Simons. What can you go get in the marketplace to make this team better? And if nothing comes about, then I do think Damon Lillard will have to look very hard at his future in Portland. But if they do make the team better between now and Thursday and on Thursday night, then I think you’ll see Damian Lillard be there.?

One team that has been linked to the star player is the Miami Heat. The Heat missed out on Bradley Beal, who was traded to the Phoenix Suns and then was reportedly trying to trade for Lillard.?
