Golden State Warriors‘ Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will be seen in action in the eighth Capital One?s The Match. Many fans already know about Curry and his love for golf but he has had teammates like Andrew Wiggins, Thompson, Green, and even Andre Iguodala who have a certain interest in playing on the course.
The Warriors duo recently talked about facing off against their NFL buddies in the golf tournament and the methods they will be using to get the upper hand. However, only a day before the anticipated matchup, Curry had a bone to pick with LIV golfer Phil Mickelson and his tactics.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry both made an appearance on the latest episode of Through The Wire. The two talked about numerous things from basketball to the game of golf and a few other topics as well.
When asked about the trash-talking they will hear at the hands of their NFL opponents Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Thompson even brought up Draymond Green as their nuclear deterrent and weapon.
But only 24 hours before battling it out on the golf course, Curry had a few words about golf veteran Phil Mickelson. One of the hosts asked Curry about some of his takeaways from the last tournament he participated in.

To that, Steph said, ?One, don?t let Phil Mickelson set the rules and regulations for the format. Me and Peyton didn?t know what we was getting into. They let Chuck play at the red tees and it was an alternate shot.?
?They played right into their hands, so yeah. I think this format is gonna be awesome because it keeps the entertainment high. Even if you hit a bad shot, your partner can hold it down for you. And you can stay in the hole, and still compete.?

Stephen Curry may have given his thoughts on the scores he had to settle with Phil Mickelson, but he also gave an insight into the other things he took away from the last tournament. Curry talked about the co-relations Thompson drew between golf and basketball.
However, one other thing the Baby-Faced Assassin took away from all this was just enjoying the moment. Steph said, ?There?s a lot of conversation going on, a lot of entertainment, a lot of voices. That?s part of the entertainment value of what it is.?
But for us, he added, to just be able to enjoy that part of it and then just lock in on a shot and hit a shot and then kind of go back and forth. “It takes a little bit of experience to do it but I think that?s the best part about just enjoying ourselves and not getting too nervous.?
