The prestigious LeMans race in France completed its 100 years of existence. On the special occasion, the 4x NBA champion was invited and he also waved the flag to mark the start of the race. King James received a loud and warm welcome at the 24-hour motor race held in Sarthe, France. He also obliged the fans with autographs and greetings while making his way into the arena. Amidst all the buzz, one of LeBron’s multi-million dollar possession caught the attention of the internet. Specifically, the son of Bernard Arnault took notice of what LeBron was wearing on his wrist, and he couldn’t help but compliment the NBA superstar on Instagram.

Alexandre Arnault took to Instagram to comment on the special watch that King James was wearing at the event. Impressed by his choice, Arnault shared LeBron’s image on his Instagram story, wearing the Patek Philippe watch. He captioned the post “Nice watch,” tagging him on the story. LeBron was wearing Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-018 watch, which was made in collaboration with the luxury jewelry maker Tiffany & Co. Interestingly, Tiffany is now also owned by the LVMH of the Arnault family. In 2021, they acquired a majority stake in the company for over $15.8 billion.

LeBron getting all the attention in the world is nothing new, but this instance was indeed special. He is known to be a connoisseur of watches and appreciation coming from another billionaire, must be a great stamp of approval. The brilliant timepiece is said to be worth $2.5 million, and some believe it to be worth over $3 million.
