There’s no doubt that the majority of NBA players are Black. However, there are still quite a few white players in the league, and Miami Heat forward Kevin Love is one of them. As a white player in the NBA, the 2016 NBA champion recently made a shocking ‘a**hole’ claim, while offering some bizarre advice to another white player in the league, Dean Wade.
As it turns out, Love told his former teammate the secret behind being successful in the league as a white guy. The Cleveland Cavaliers forward recently revealed why Love made the ‘a******’ claim while telling him the success slogan. This, in turn, garnered a lot of fans’ attention and made them lose to it on social media.

In the new episode of the Point Forward?podcast, Wade sat for a chat with co-hosts Evan Turner and Andre Iguodala. They talked about a myriad of intriguing topics including the success slogan offered to him by former Cleveland star Kevin Love.
During the podcast, Wade said, “One of the first things he [Kevin Love] told me, and this was kind of a off-court thing- ‘Have you seen a white guy in NBA that’s not an a******?’ I’m like, ‘Maybe’.”
The 26-year-old subsequently added, “He was like, ‘No if you?re going to be successful in the NBA as a white guy, you kinda gotta be an a******.”
Kevin Love has had a successful run in the NBA, winning the 2016 NBA championship as part of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving’s Cavs squad. However, it is uncertain how much of that could be ascribed to him being an a-hole.
Incidentally, NBA buffs went out of order after they came across Love’s success slogan.
