The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies with a score of 104-99. The Lakers carried the game pretty well for three and a half quarters, but after that, it was not in their hands. In the fourth quarter, the Grizzlies’ Ja Morant delivered a marvelous performance. The problem is that Lakers are short-handed, so they have to work with new players after following NBA health and safety protocols.
However, LeBron James had another game where he scored thirty-plus points and Russell Westbrook had a triple-double. Russell made a mistake during the game, which caused many people to tweet the hashtag “Trade Russell“, which is currently trending.

The Lakers had a chance to tie up the game in the final second as they averaged 16 points in the final 12 minutes. The collapse was embarrassing as Russell had yet again made a mistake that caught everyone’s attention. The same thing happened in the fourth quarter – he missed an open lay-up in transition. In addition to his misfire, he missed a shot from a bad angle in the first half.

In his triple-double, Westbrook scored 16 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds in this match. Due to the various mistakes, the team lost another opportunity to tie the game up.
The first game for Morant against the Lakers saw him score 41 points, while the newcomer Stanley Johnson also made a great first impression on the Lakers, disrupting passes and helping clog the paint on defense.
