At 37 years of age, LeBron James is seemingly doing everything in his power to keep the Los Angeles Lakers afloat. Having five straight 30+ point games, James has taken it upon himself to take on the scoring load in the absence of Anthony Davis. Yet the Lakers are still in the bottom half of the Western Conference. And now, the latest injury update on Davis might just force the Lakers’ front office to make some changes.
The Los Angeles Lakers are 13-18 currently, which puts them in 13th place in the West. The only teams below the Lakers are the Spurs and the Rockets, who are currently in rebuilding mode.

Is it time to trade Anthony Davis?
Furthermore, for the Lakers to have three perennial All-Stars and still struggle to win games is definitely not what fans expected. And now, the most recent update on Anthony Davis’ injury has left fans even more frustrated than before.

The latest update from the Lakers said, “Anthony Davis has a stress injury in his right foot. Davis will be out indefinitely. Further updates will be provided when appropriate.”
Fans on the other hand have seemingly had enough of hoping Davis could stay healthy and help them win. Some fans believe it’s time to trade Davis and take whatever the Lakers can get for the eight-time All-Star.
Here are some more reactions from NBA Twitter:
@DiahDesignz Bro the next thing I hear better damn well be Shams with breaking news and a trade notification! Enough bad vibes!

Thanks for the chip, but I'm done with this guy, as soon as he's "healthy" again…trade him and get all that you can…this is ridiculous. Guy gets hurt when he jumps, get hurt in the air, and gets hurt when he lands

We need to trade Bev, Westbrick, and whoever else to get Zach Lavine or Demar Derozan. LBJ can’t do it alone like he used to. Stop wasting his last years.

AD my boi I just don’t think he grew into his body correctly to have all of these injuries. He also gotta change his workout routine and trainers.

The amount of frustration among fans was palpable with Anthony Davis getting sidelined so often.

No help for LeBron James
Recently, fans were outraged at team owner and president Jeanie Buss for “wasting” LeBron’s twilight years in the league. They also recalled that Buss seemingly did the same thing with Kobe Bryant in his final years.
Looking at the Lakers’ roster, they arguably do not have much to offer in order to get something in return. The only way the Lakers would likely get anything is if they trade one of their star pieces away in the hopes of getting a good return.
