The Toronto Raptors’ run in the NBA’s Summer League has ended, and the team is currently off the map. In the meantime, the unavoidable Media Day that kicks off the 2021-22 season is getting closer. Over the past couple of seasons, the Raptors have relied heavily on the players we currently know. Some of the lesser-known players could be important to raising the team’s ceiling.

Scottie Barnes
The Raptors’ fans quickly noticed Barnes’ outgoing personality and infectious attitude after he joined the roster. Raptors fans in Toronto are sure to love his wholesome demeanor, which has been a major draw for him. In the Las Vegas Summer League, he provided impressive playing ability on both ends of the court.
Svi Mykhailiuk
There is a new wing shooter on the Raptors. Mykhailiuk, 24, has a career three-point percentagepercentage of 36.2 percent. Although it remains to be seen what other things Svi can do with and for the Raptors, there’s no doubt in the value of this signing.

DeAndre’ Bembry
Last season, the Raptors signed Bembry to a two-year contract. The Raptors had him play 51 games last season, 12 of which he started, averaging 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
Rodney Hood
Hood was acquired by the Raptors from the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the Norman Powell trade at the trade deadline last season. The Milwaukee Bucks are set to sign Hood for a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
