?Envious? Stephen Curry Incites Backlash for ?Really Hating? LeBron James After Latest Comment

Any sports fan would know that the debate to decide the greatest players of all time are a never-ending saga. Many legendary players have missed out on the top-5 lists of several players, analysts and NBA legends, primarily due to personal preferences. Generally speaking, NBA fans do not react lightly to such opinions. A similar incident happened with Stephen Curry when he was asked to name his top-5 team, including himself in the team. The 34-year-old had made the cardinal mistake of leaving out LeBron James’ name from his five-man squad of choice, angering a large section of the NBA fandom.

The four-time NBA Champion recently named his dream team of all time, and decided not include LeBron James’ name along with the likes of Michael Jordan and Shaq. Incidentally, fans weren?t quite happy with the decision of the Dubs superstar as they bashed him on Twitter.

While talking to Sports Illustrated, Stephen Curry named his dream team which would be a challenge for anyone to defeat. The team had some legendary superstars in them, except for one very prominent name.

?I?m at PG, I?m going with Magic[Johnson], we?ll play hybrid guards.? said Curry. The four-time NBA Champion further added ?You got [Michael]Jordan, you got Dirk[Nowitzki] spacing the floor and shooting the ball. And you got the big man, the Diesel[Shaquille O?Neal] holding it down.?

NBA fans were shocked at the selection, especially after LeBron James was omitted from the squad. Many consider James alongside the greatest players of all time, explaining the shock for the fans. LeBron fans flooded social media to express their disapproval.

The fans questioned the inclusion of Dirk Nowitzki rather than James. They also felt Curry was ?hating? on the 37-year-old, mentioning that Curry himself wouldn?t fit the team.

Fans also pointed out the fact that Kevin Durant should also be in the conversation for being on the team. Some fans even trolled the Dubs superstar for his ‘jealousy’ of LeBron.
