Tiger Woods, one of the greatest golfers of all time, once appreciated LeBron James’s talent. King James has proved to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He has had a legendary 19 year career, and is still going hard.

Tiger Woods has himself been a decorated golfer a long time. He understands how difficult it is to main consistency as an athlete. There are not a lot of athletes who can stretch their peak to the final years of their career. Every player is good when they start out in the game. The tough part is to maintain it and be efficient throughout.

“First of all, I think that being great is doing something that no one can do, but also what separates those people — the ones that you mentioned, like LeBron or what I’m thinking the M.J. or Gretzky — it’s just the duration”, said Tiger Woods.

Tiger Woods’ appreciation of LeBron James came after he fought for the Eastern Conference Finals in 2018. It was an extremely tough series against the Boston Celtics. However, LeBron led the Cavaliers to a 4-3 victory. LeBron did the same thing a few years ago.

The Cavaliers were losing to Golden State Warriors in 2016 by 3-1. LeBron put up a spectacle of a performance and mesmerized the Warriors. LeBron took away the victory by 4-3. What really impressed Tiger Woods was that LeBron has not done it just once, but has kept at it for the longest time.

LeBron James’ greatness

LeBron James has had an extremely magnificent career. He has been the top most name in the league ever since he has been drafted. No matter what team he has played for, he has always had a huge positive impact on them. Tiger Woods really appreciates LeBron’s longevity.

Tiger Woods exclaims “What LeBron has done for what, 15 seasons now, is just remarkable. Because it’s that type of longevity and to be able to be up for that long a period of time. And to be able to adjust as well because we all know as we age, we’re not going to be as athletic as we used to be.”

Currently 37, LeBron James is still one of the best players in the league. Furthermore, he is also putting up one of the best scoring displays of his career. He is averaging 29.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists. His peak does not seem to end.
