Taking inspiration from fellow Hall of Famers, 4x NBA champion and Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal is all set to join the list of NBA greats who have a documentary series made on them. No documentary series can truly capture the essence of O’Neal’s remarkable career and larger-than-life personality. However, the show-runners at HBO are attempting just that with the help of the man himself.

Any NBA All-time list that excludes the 7’1” monster of Los Angeles is blasphemy in NBA circles. The NBA has not seen the likes of Shaquille O’Neal in its storied 75-year history. O’Neal was one of the most dominant big men in his era, a man among boys. The Big Diesel had become a global icon at the height of his carer. However, like always, there was more to what meets the eye. The new HBO special ‘SHAQ’ aims at shedding light on O’Neal’s journey.
