The world of basketball and rap collided once again as Canadian rapper Drake drew Jayson Tatum to his concert. The show was a stop on Drake’s It’s All a Blur tour, held at TD Garden in Boston. Drake called his friend from the NBA to attend the concert. And Tatum, being in his offseason, couldn’t refuse the gracious offer and joined in.
But Tatum’s decision to drop in for the show did not sit well with fans.

For his concert in Boston, Drake, who is notorious for drawing celebrities out of their homes for his performances welcomed Tatum onstage. The song Look What You’ve Done played over the stadium speakers as Tatum ascended the steps with the rap star, paying a subtle homage to Tatum’s incredible accomplishments in his quite brief basketball career.
Tatum seems to be enjoying his well-earned offseason:

While Drake’s tour promotes his record Her Loss, which he co-wrote with fellow rapper 21 Savage, Tatum is making the most of his well-earned downtime. An ankle injury cut the 25-year-old Celtics star’s postseason journey short after a career-best season in which he averaged over 30 points per game.
Tatum is still dedicated to leading the Boston Celtics to victory. However, a few fans beg to disagree.
NBA fans slam Jayson Tatum
