The Dallas Mavericks bagged their second straight win against the Houston Rockets earlier today. Their convincing win was led by Luka Doncic who dominated the offense with a staggering 50 points. The Rockets saw contributions from Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr. However, their showcase on the hardwood was in vain as Doncic was all over the Rockets’ defense. Doncic also led the Mavs in making the most number of rebounds (8) and assists (10) in the game. Amidst his dominating performances, the Mavs star was also adding his name to a record list in the league.

From the beginning of the season, the Dallas Mavericks have banked on Doncic’s craft to see them through tough situations and secure the odd win. The three-time All-Star has stood tall and embraced this responsibility. While doing so, Doncic made history. After leading the team in points, rebounds, and assists in the previous game, Doncic became the fastest player in the league to have done this 100 times. It took the 23-year-old star just 293 games to do so. Notably, those behind him, i.e. players like Nikola Jokic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo took 500+ games to reach this feat. In today’s game, once again, he led the list in all three departments.
