Her attendant placed a small stool for her to stand on as she got out of her car with her pink stilettos. She had to protect her shoes from the griminess of the beach. The NBA fans got a similar treat from DJ Khaled.

During the game night between Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets, popular rapper DJ Khaled was in attendance. But what proved to be funnier was his conduct. His sneakers had soft cushioning. His Air Jordans in Crimson Bliss were placed on a peach-pink pillow with golden embroidery. Khaled placed his feet on the pillow.

This appeared to be just another day for Khaled, who was seen looking at his phone. This seemed to be something he did often.

Fans couldn’t stop laughing at the whole scene. One netizen tweeted, “This man knows how to go viral”. Others were curious about what would happen when he started to walk. Some people associated him with royalty.

In an interview with Complex Closets, the public got proof of DJ Khaled’s obsession with collecting sneakers. They got to view a big floor-to-ceiling closet, just for his shoes. There were just too many shoes to count. However, the rapper knows all of them by name, whether it was gifted, or when he wore it down to who he made it with.

DJ Khaled found inspiration from Michael Jordan

Before he launched the new Air Jordan 5 collab, Khaled stated how proud he was of this collection. The tagline for this collection is “Keep going”, which was symbolic of hard work and consistency and moving forward. Michael Jordan was also the poster boy for such virtues.

Hornets reporter, Ashley Shahmadi asked him about his apparent promotion for his shoes. Khaled said since the collab was new and with Michael Jordan, they couldn’t touch the floor just yet.

DJ Khaled boasts about 10,000 pairs of sneakers and it is a growing collection. It is rumored that his sons also have their own small collection already.
