Hardly a month from now, the hoops world will witness the much-awaited 2023 NBA draft. All eyes are now set on the San Antonio Spurs as they have recently won the NBA Draft Lottery. Apparently, the widely projected first pick, Victor Wembanyama continues to be in the center stage in NBA circles. While weighing in on the Frenchman’s prospects in San Antonio, a Celtics legend sounded quite optimistic.

The Spurs have a history of being a place where players have bloomed. San Antonio had drafted the legendary Tim Duncan in 1997, and the rest is history. Given this reputation of the Spurs, it seems like the Boston Celtics legend can’t wait to see Wembanyama don San Antonio’s colors.
