It was a gripping game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night. The 76ers could have finished the game earlier if it weren’t for Anthony Davis leading a comeback. The Lakers headed into overtime in the nick of time, and this caused a meltdown among the 76ers fans.

In the last 34 seconds of the game, the 76ers were in the lead with a 9-point difference. And then came Anthony Davis and his teammates who made up the deficit. Austin Reaves pulled a triple with 12 seconds left that helped the Lakers reach 119-117. He was then fouled by his opponent and therein sunk his two free throws. Furthermore, Tobias Harris fouled Anthony Davis with 3.7 seconds left and AD took this to his advantage and made it 120-all. Anthony Davis then sent the game into overtime.
The 76ers fans are in shock at how things panned out. They accused Doc Rivers, head coach of the franchise, and commented that “This is inexcusable“. Other fans said that the Philadephia 76ers could have easily won the game, without the need to play in overtime. Others were sorely disappointed that their expectations weren’t met.
