Fans who were rooting for a trade between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets will now have to see Irving in a Dallas jersey.?

The Nets wanted more than Russell Westbrook for Kyrie Irving

The Lakers previously offered Russell Westbrook along with their 2027 and 2029 first-round picks, which was apparently not enough for the Nets. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, in addition to the above offer, the Nets wanted Lakers rookies Austin Reaves and Max Christie for Irving.
