In an episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, the controlling owner and President of the Lakers, Jeanie Buss, discussed the documentary with guest host Desus Nice. In addition to sharing stories of the Lakers throughout these years, she also talked about her late father Jerry Buss, and the history of the team.
Ticket sales are high, and celebrities are highlights of the Lakers’ match and many other things. As part of her conversations, she also admitted to enjoying Lakers tickets to fulfill childhood dreams and to meet celebrities such as Michelle Obama.
The Lakers are extremely popular, and you can occasionally see celebrities such as Jack Nicholson, Larry David, Kim Kardashian, and Courteney Cox visiting. Considering that the Lakers are one of the strongest teams in the NBA, it’s nothing new. With their history, they have made a name for themselves.

In telling some stories of celebrities at a game, she mentioned a time when a musician attended and got a huge record deal. According to her: “I was a big fan of a guy by the name of David Cassidy who was like you know this generation it would be their Justin Bieber.”

As she continued, “He’s a pop star and he called me and because it was David Cassidy I got him seats on the floor. The next day he sent me the most beautiful flowers and I really appreciate the flowers and he said no you don’t understand by sitting on the floor at a lakers game I got a new record deal.”
