The Golden State Warriors gave their fans a memorable night with a win on Christmas. Despite playing without their leading scorer Stephen Curry, the Warriors were able to take down the number one seed in the Western Conference, the Memphis Grizzlies. But despite getting the win, Warriors star Klay Thompson had some words for the Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks over his remarks in last year?s playoffs.?

The Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors locked horns in last year?s playoffs. The Warriors were able to eliminate the Grizzlies in six games. But Dillon Brooks still had some words even after suffering the loss.?

Klay Thompson following in the footsteps of Stephen Curry

Brooks had talked about the Memphis Grizzlies being a dynasty. Though he was quickly shut down by Stephen Curry and now it looks like Klay Thompson has taken shots at Brooks? comments as well.?

Thompson said, ?You can’t talk dynasty when you haven’t won before… I thought that was premature talk,? after their win against Memphis. Fans however called out Thompson for his snide remarks.

Klay Thompson took shots at Dillon Brooks during the game

During the game, Thompson taunted Dillon Brooks for which he got a technical foul as well. The Warriors were up with a 14-point lead at the time. Thompson hit a leaning mid-range jumper with over three and a half minutes left to play.

Dillon Brooks did his best to defend Thompson but was unable to do so. He ended up tripping and falling onto the floor. Thompson took that moment to stare down Brooks while on his way back on defense which caused the officials to call a technical against him.?

By the looks of it, it seems like there might be a new rivalry in the making between the Grizzlies and the Warriors.?
