The Los Angeles Lakers had yet another bad day at the office tonight. Taking on the Miami Heat, they lost 113-107 on the road. The purple and gold were off rhythm early i the game and couldn’t get back despite a late game rally. While struggling early game, Carmelo Anthony further frustrated some fans as he missed an easy dunk for the Lake show.

Going off an inbound play, Melo missed an easy flush, and twitter did not hold back.

The Lakers started off their road trip in encouraging fashion when they took the win against the Orlando Magic. However, they couldn’t keep up their momentum as the Heat spoiled the party. The Lakers couldn’t get anything going for them early in the game, and the Melo miss summed up their game.

Carmelo Anthony misses easy dunk for the Lakers

The Heat were on their best tonight as they took a commanding lead early in the game. However, the Lakers had their chances to make something happen but could not capitalize. Trying to make their way back into the game, Melo missed an easy dunk in the second quarter and had twitter going wild.

It was just that kind of the day for the purple and gold who got into the game really late. Except for the fourth quarter, the Lake show never looked like they had control throughout the game. Any try to comeback was quickly overwhelmed by the Heat, who themselves are shorthanded.

After his struggles early in the season, Duncan Robinson has been making some serious noise. He led the scoring with 25 points on 6 made threes. Jimmy Butler had an all round performance with 20 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Bam Adebayo added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the win 30th win for the Miami this season.

For the Lakers, once again, the duo of Brodie and LeBron were the only ones who made an impact. Two of the starters failed to add a single point and the bench unit struggled as well. James ended with 33 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Russell Westbrook added 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists in the Lakers loss.
