Just a few days ago, the Celtics were on top of the world. They were up 2-1 against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals with game four in TD Garden. Now, in a span of two games, they find themselves down 3-2 and facing elimination.

The St. Louis Hawks selected Mr.Bill Russell as the second overall pick in the 1956 NBA Draft. But on a draft-day trade, then Celtics coach Red Auerbach traded for Mr. Rusell and gave 6-time NBA All-Star Ed Macauley and Cliff Hagan to the Hawks. This would go down as one of the best draft-day trades in modern American sports history.
Mr.11 Rings was a Celtic for the entirety of his career. The Celtics legend was a five-time NBA Most Valuable Player and a 12-time NBA All-Star. He was the centerpiece of the Celtics dynasty. For most of his career, Russell and his perennial opponent Wilt Chamberlain were close friends, even though they faced each other in the NBA Finals regularly. While the Warriors will look to finish it, the Celtics will give everything to push this series to a winner takes all game-7.
