The Houston Rockets and their disappointing season doesn’t seem to end. The team has an unbelievably disappointing record of one win in 13 games. Since the exit of James Harden from the side, they have struggled immensely, and Shaquille O’Neal recently pointed out the causes for it. In the recent episode of Inside the NBA, Shaq honestly described what is plaguing the Rockets’ side, at least for the current season. Their performances have all but surely removed them from playoff contention.

The Lakers legend is of the opinion that the Rockets squad is too young to compete at the highest level. He pointed out the fact that stars like Jalen Green and Alperen Segun are incredibly young.

The Houston Rockets lost their second game in a row against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday to continue their woes for the season. In the postgame analysis, the experts were bound to talk about what was up with the Houston side.

The Lakers legend chimed in when he mentioned a fact about the current squad of the Rockets. In the latest episode of Inside the NBA, Shaq defended the team’s bad performances due to lack of experience.

The seven-foot legend was of the opinion that it’d be unfair to criticize them considering their age. His co-hosts weren’t fans of his take and complained that it wasn’t any reason to not play “hard”. The Lakers legend remained adamant saying the Rockets roster are “just babies”.
