The highly-anticipated Slam Dunk Contest, which took place on Saturday night, lived up to its billing, with one player, in particular, stealing the show. Mac McClung, an unexpected rising star in the league, ‘wowed’ the crowd with his incredible hops and gravity-defying dunks, earning him widespread praise and admiration.

As news of his stunning performance spread, social media platforms were flooded with videos and highlights of his jaw-dropping feats, cementing his status as one of the game’s most exciting dunkers. Internet star Druski has also shared a video from the All-Star weekend which featured McClung incredibly shooting a 720 on the court.

Day two of the NBA All-Star weekend saw basketball fans treated to some unforgettable moments, with Mac McClung’s incredible slam dunks stealing the show. In a video shared on an Instagram story by comedian and internet sensation Druski, McClung can be seen executing a flawless 720 on the court, prompting Druski to jokingly quip, “They need to drug test this white boy!”

The night was jam-packed with thrilling performances with fans on the edge of their seats, from the Skills Challenge to the Slam Dunk contest. However, it was McClung’s exceptional dunking that had everyone talking.

With the NBA season still in full swing, fans are eagerly anticipating what McClung has in store next. The NBA All-Star weekend’s day 2 was truly filled with many awestriking moments.

Mac McClung dominates the Slam Dunk contest 

Mac McClung has put on a stunning display at the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest 2023, leaving fans in Salt City awestruck with his exceptional performance. Moreover, he scored a near-perfect 198.8 out of 200 and secured the champion trophy with three perfect and one nearly-perfect slam dunk. While Jericho Sims earned a respectable 47.8 score, McClung stole the show with a 49.8.

McClung is currently on a two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. Notably, the twenty-four-year old played a total of two games in the last season for two different franchises. He represented the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers averaging four points per game in his league career.
