When your father is an NBA legend or an arguable GOAT, there are certain level of expectations the world have from you. Being a son of an NBA athlete means being under constant media scrutiny with everyone having just one question in mind – Will he be able to match up to his father’s legacy? Evidently, NBA superstar LeBron James‘ son Bronny has been making headlines with his improved game and this has led fans to compare him to Hall of Famer Michael Jordan‘s sons.

If Bronny James wasn’t good before, he’s better now. NBA Draft analyst Krysten Peek of Yahoo! Sports stated that she has seen significant improvement in the 18-year-old basketball player. While Bronny’s career has barely even begun, Jordan’s sons – Jeffrey and Marcus, had decided long ago that basketball was not for them.

Bronny James might just have what it takes to become an NBA superstar like his father LeBron James. Bronny, who currently attends Sierra Canyon School is already sharpening his skills and NBA fans are rather impressed. Of course, majority of the credit goes to papa James who had time and again expressed his wish to play at least one season with his son.

After watching the highlights of the recent game, fans praised Bronny but at the same time they began drawing comparisons between him and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan’s sons.

While some accused the 6x NBA champion of being a horrible father, others felt that it was the surname Jordan that helped them out a long way. However, a whole lot of Twitter users also pointed out that while MJ’s sons could not become NBA stars they turned out to be successful in other fields. Below are a few of the tweets.

What are Michael Jordan’s sons up to?

Michael Jordan shares three children with his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy – Jeffrey, Marcus, and daughter Jasmine. While both of MJ’s sons played basketball for brief period of time, they gave it up as a career option and opted to explore other fields. Jordan’s eldest son, Jeffrey, played basketball for no more than three seasons when he attended the University of Illinois and University of Central Florida. Jeffrey is a cofounder of Heir Jordan and an investment company known as Jordan Avakian Group.
