The Golden State Warriors have had a slow start this season. Despite Stephen Curry’s best efforts, the Warriors have lost seven of their last 10 games. Furthermore, the team’s younger players do not appear to be making a substantial contribution. As all of the team’s top names, like Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins, were rested in the game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Klay Thompson will also join them, according to Steve Kerr, and may not play in back-to-back games all season. This news shocked the Warriors fans.

On Friday night, in the absence of their experienced players, the Warriors lost to the Pelicans by 9 points, the final score was 114-105. Jordan Poole scored 20 points and 9 assists during his 38 minutes on the court. While Ty Jerome scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in 32 minutes. On the other hand, CJ McCollum and Larry Lance Jr both scored 20 points and 8 rebounds each.
This was the fifth time in the last three seasons that all of the ‘Big Four’ of the Warriors missed the same game.
Warriors fans seem concerned with the changes on the bench for Stephen Curry and co.
Not only Klay Thompson but also the team will likely have to be careful with Draymond Green, as both players have a history of injuries. And the franchise won’t want that to happen to them. And the Golden State Warriors have a total of 14 back-to-backs this season, and Steve Kerr answered some questions on this. He said, “In this particular case, we’ve got a couple of guys we’re going to be really careful with on back-to-backs all year.”
It is evident that the “couple of guys” here are Green and Thompson. And Kerr later added:?“Klay may not play in a back-to-back all year. He didn’t last year because of two straight season-ending injuries.” As the statement by Kerr surfaced through the internet the fans seem to be concerned. One of the fans said, “They doing everything to tank for Wembanyama.”

I hope he comes back healthy. His shooting mechanics changed a bit after his injury.

For a player over age 30 with 2 major lower extremity injuries, the physical impacts don’t simply disappear when an athlete “returns.” Back to back games have an increased injury risk in healthy players, not to mention one coming back from an ACL and Achilles.

It's definitely affecting his play coming to grips with the fact he's not the same player as before.
