The NBA Finals are setting itself up to be an exciting race to the ultimate silverware. The Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics will travel to “Beantown” with the series deadlocked at one win each. Both Stephen Curry and Jayson Tatum will want to keep their teams from crumbling?in the crucial game.
The Warriors salvaged themselves from falling two games behind with a 19-point triumph in Game 2. So far, both games have seen emphatic third quarters from each squad, propelling them to victory. Game 3 is poised to be thrilling, with both teams aiming to shatter the series’ deadlock once again.

After the first two games, the NBA released an updated Finals MVP ladder. Following the release of the rankings following the first game, the league changed its rankings based on both games’ performances. These individuals who are rocketing up the scoreboard for their side have snatched all the headlines.
The Warriors got the last win, therefore it seemed natural that the Dubs’ players would dominate the rankings. 3 players from the Warriors dugout finished in the top three. Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, and Kevon Looney finished first, second, and third, respectively. The dynamic Boston duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Stephen Curry tallied 21 points in the first quarter of Game 1 with a blistering bombardment of 3-pointers. In Game 2, he continued to pose a serious threat to the Celtics, scoring 29 points, 14 of which came in the third quarter. Stephen Curry has been putting on a 3-point shooting clinic in the NBA Finals. In Game 2, Chef Curry nailed five 3-pointers on route to a game-high 29 points. It was in Game 1, however, when the guard illustrated how his shooting from beyond the arc will dictate this series.

With six 3-pointers in the first quarter of Game 1, he established an NBA record for most made 3-pointers in any quarter of a Finals game. Curry’s attacking prowess has been widely documented, but it’s his defensive display that has recently wowed his colleagues. Curry has been a nuisance on both ends with his on-ball defense, lateral quickness, and quick hands.
