It’s no doubt Michael Jordan meant serious business when it came to basketball. In his era of basketball, Jordan would do whatever it takes to win the championship. Moreover, the Chicago Bulls legend would also motivate his teammates for the same goal, but in a harsh way. Though many seem to be a fan of MJ’s documentary, the 42-year-old forward of the Miami Heat might not be one.?
In an interview during the pandemic a few years ago the NBA veteran sat down with former Cleveland Cavaliers player Richard Jefferson to talk about basketball. His view on Michael Jordan’s ‘The Last Dance’ is considered the highlight of the interview.?

Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat is one of the most respected seniors in the league. At the age of 42, the three-time champion is currently playing his 20th and final season in the NBA. The veteran has played alongside numerous legendary players like LeBron James, Ray Allen, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Staying loyal to the Heat for twenty straight seasons, it’s no doubt Haslem has got the mindset of a champion.?

However, Haslem does not seem to appreciate MJ’s way of dealing bringing in motivation and dealing with teammates. In the interview, Jefferson questioned Haslem,?“Now that you have watched the Jordan documentary and you have seen how competitive Jordan is, how he has challenged his teammate. Do you think the message he is trying to put out to the people of how hard it is to be a champion every single day is received? How was it received by you?”.
Haslem replied,?“It definitely ain’t for everybody, pushing to be a champion every day and a lot of times you are gonna push people who don’t want to be pushed… So I can understand Jordan from that aspect”. Haslem further added,?“You gotta learn how to approach people, you gotta learn how to deal with people. Michael Jordan’s approach might not necessarily be my approach on certain things.”.?

Throwing shade at the former Bulls star, the 42-year-old added,?“There was some name calling in there. I’m just saying if I’m one of the people, Mike not talking to me like that. I might put hands on Mike… You can’t call me the ‘B’ word and the ‘H’ word”.?It’s pretty evident Jordan didn’t go easy on his teammates considering his documentary. However, Haslem does not seem to be a fan of MJ’s motivational approach.?
