Stephen Curry is one of the most famous athletes in the world playing currently. With his performances and endorsements with several brands, he went on to garner love from his fans, which ultimately resulted in increasing his fanbase. However, being so famous comes at an expense of taking away privacy. And lately, Curry opened up on the matter of trying to protect his privacy publicly in a one-on-one interview with Scott Fowler of ‘The Charlotte Observer’.

Fowler and Curry discussed several topics that the fans definitely would love to hear. However, he also asked some important questions that might catch the attention of the viewers more.

Amidst interviewing him, Fowler asked him whether it was tiring to be Stephen Curry. Curry responded by agreeing with the question of Fowler. He explained further when it gets most difficult to maintain the privacy of him and his family. The Dubs guard added, “The times that it gets difficult is just when you?re with your family and you?re trying to give the kids an experience that they will remember, and a healthy childhood.”

He finished off by saying that it gets tougher to protect the privacy of himself and his family when they were out in public. The Dubs guard pretty much self-explained the reason for feeling tired sometimes, along with admitting the cost of being famous.

Thereafter Curry’s answer, Fowler followed him with another question asking whether he turn down people in the public. Curry agreed with the question of Fowler and stated an example of how he had turned a proposal from the fans recently. He recalled how he turned down the proposals of the people who were asking for a photo every 30 seconds when he was watching his daughter play volleyball in the morning. He said he respectfully addressed the fans to not ask for pictures at that moment which got positive feedback from the fans.

However, the Warriors point guard added how growing up in a family full of celebrities helped him to treat this situation more easily. Curry said he learned to appreciate the proposals of fans while maintaining his privacy from his family. He finished off by saying, “It’s part of the nature of the beast.”
