It may seem like the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant duo for the Brooklyn Nets might be coming to an end sooner than anyone would like. Irving is still serving his suspension due to his recent controversies but the team has been able to pick up the slack in his absence. It seems as if trade rumors surrounding Kevin Durant are coming in hot and heavy.?The Nets are 4-2 in their last six games so far.?

By the looks of it, the Nets seem to be a better team without Irving on the floor. Lately, it has been a Kevin Durant show through and through. Durant has been consistently scoring for the team, also coming up big in late-game situations.?

The Nets might end up rebuilding without Kevin Durant

But the Nets would probably want to trade Kyrie Irving before his contract expires next summer. Notably, this would likely give the front office the ability to build a team solely around KD and what compliments his game.?

But it looks like teams are already interested in adding the ‘Slim Reaper’ to bolster their roster. Recently, the Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly had their sights set on Kevin Durant. And that sure is good news for James Harden and Joel Embiid. However, NBA fans just could not process this news.?
