Believed to be the No.1 draft pick in the NBA for the year 2023, Victor Wembanyama has left NBA Twitter in shambles with every performance of his. The entire NBA community is watching Wembanyama closely. With his performances in the ongoing qualifiers for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, he is leaving fans awestruck. But this time, he is doing it in what fans call, the Stephen Curry style.

Earlier today, in a game against Bosnia and Herzegovina, France center Victor Wembanyama bagged 19 points. While doing so, one of his plays left NBA Twitter in a frenzy. Wembanyama shot a step-back three-pointer. Following this, he instantly looked away. He was confident that the ball would go in. This one shot from behind the arc and the confidence that followed looked eerily similar to what two-time MVP, Stephen Curry does. Fans were quick to point this out.

Many even called him crazy. Wembanyama wasn’t human was the narrative fans created. They were left in disbelief and compared him to the Golden State Warriors superstar.

At a tender age, with a height of 7’4, Wembanyama has created a name for himself already. Each NBA team wants to be associated with his name.

The NBA will be a whole new world, but I want to be at the World Cup in 2023.” Wembanyama might have just secured himself a place in the team as he helped France seal a spot in the World Cup after the win against Bosnia.
