Last season was defining in the history of the Golden State Warriors. Revitalizing a lost dynasty, Stephen Curry and co. managed to emerge as underdogs. With no major changes, their original core paved the way once again. A fourth championship resides in the Bay as the three-point king of the NBA completed the much-awaited conquest of a Finals MVP award. Apart from his excellence, the Warriors had a leader on the sidelines in the form of Andre Iguodala.
The NBA veteran started his career as a high-flying star besides Allen Iverson. However, he slowly turned out to be arguably one of the greatest sixth men in NBA history. In 2015, he shocked LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers by leading the way for the inaugural title for the current Bay dynasty. Without even starting every game, his stellar defense on ‘The King’ was pivotal in the Warriors’ championship conquest. Likewise, he became the first player to ever win the Finals MVP without being a starter in all games.

After a final run with the Miami Heat, Iguodala was up for the takes as a free agent last season. With the doors wide open, Bob Myers brought back his former Finals hero. Likewise, his importance is recognized by the face of the franchise, Stephen Curry. Furthermore, it seems the Baby Face Assassin wanted him back once again.
Announcing the decision on his own podcast, Andre Iguodala is indeed returning for his 19th season in the NBA as a member of the Warriors. However, it will be his final one. He said: ?I?m letting you know now, Steph, this the last one”.?And Warrior fans were over the moon knowing the veteran is running it back one last time.
