Given how wide open the West was, the Blazers on paper had the chance to make a deep playoff run. But Portland disappointed yet again as the Nuggets side who were missing three key players from their rotation beat the Blazers in six games.

Given that their talisman, Damian Lillard had made his disappointment clear, the Blazers will be determined to keep their main man happy. According to multiple reports, Lillard has been lobbying for Lakers’ assistant coach Jason Kidd as the new head coach.
In the last two years, Kidd has been an integral part of Frank Vogel’s coaching staff. Given that he already has NBA coaching experience, he is certainly one of the favorites for the job. The former Nets’ legend has had his fair share of experience in the NBA as a head coach.
