In 2016, Nike came up with an ad, ‘The Conductor’ to pay him tribute as he was retiring after playing for 20 years. In that clip,  the opposition fans and players like Paul Pierce and Rasheed Wallace, who didn’t have a good relationship with Bryant, were seen singing about their distaste for the Black Mamba. Moreover, it also featured Phil Jackson, the coach who seemingly hated him the most, playing piano and singing about his dislike for the 18x All-Star. However, the clip revealed in the end that the Lakers legend shut down all his haters with a little musical number.

The aforementioned video displayed how the Black Mamba embraced all the hate that he received from his rival players and fans throughout the years. Interestingly, Nike, instead of making an emotional farewell video, gave a chance to the players and fans to bid adieu to the five-time champion in a bit unusual way.

Fans were left teary-eyed after watching the resurfaced video on the internet
