Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is widely considered one of the best players ever. Apart from his exploits on the court, people know him for his short stint in coaching and also for speaking out on various socio-political issues.
He regularly takes to his blogs to talk about issues surrounding the basketball world and beyond. Recently, he talked about LeBron James potentially passing him on the scoring chart. Furthermore, he has also talked about the popular rapper Kanye West.

The Billionaire rapper is regularly in the news for his actions on social media. West was banned from major social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram for his controversial opinions.
Kareem certainly is not a fan of Kanye’s antics on the Internet. The former NBA champion called out the rapper for being hungry for attention. Moreover, he also accused West of merely doing everything for attention.
Kareem wrote, “The addiction to be relevant, to be in the public eye and on the public lips, motivates his actions.” He further added, “He is a dancing bear devoid of meaning. To attack him personally is to ignore his ailment.”
The Los Angeles Lakers legend put out his opinions openly as he clearly did not like Kanye West’s behavior. West has been in the news lately for wearing a t-shirt at Paris fashion week that read ‘White Lives Matter.’
Kanye West has a history of social media rages
In case you have been following Kanye West on his social media accounts, you will be aware of his antics on popular platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
Earlier this year, the feud between Kanye and Pete Davidson was more than evident. After splitting from Kanye, Kim Kardashian reportedly dated Pete Davidson. Kanye West certainly did not like Pete’s relationship with Kim and his kids.
Ye, as he is popularly known, shared multiple posts on his Instagram account during this time including messages from Pete Davidson himself.

After numerous posts on Kim and Pete, Kanye West was banned from Instagram. He was banned for 24hrs which made headlines all around the world.
Numerous NBA stars like Shaquille O’Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar have given their opinions on Kanye. Similar to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaq wasn’t a fan of Kanye and his antics.
