As Christmas Day approaches, fans and even players reminisce about one of the most revered matchups take took place on Christmas, including LeBron James as well.?

Arguably one of the most iconic Finals matchups was James’?Cleveland Cavaliers going up against a stacked Golden State Warriors team. These two met in the 2015 Finals for the first time and the Warriors took home the championship.

LeBron James?recently uploaded a story from the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Christmas day game against the Golden State Warriors. The story drew the attention of many fans commenting on the original post by Bleacher Report, which included highlight videos from the game.

Fans couldn?t help but reminisce about that matchup and the time when Kyrie Irving still played for the?Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers and Warriors’ rivalry

The game between the Cavs and the Warriors was considered a Finals re-match during the regular season. The Warriors had defeated the Cavaliers, 4-2, in the Finals a year before. So, it was natural for Cleveland to want to get the upper hand going into the game, as the Cavs just managed to win 109-108.?

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving put on a show for the crowd the whole game. Even former NBA player Richard Jefferson turned back the clock to elevate and posterize some players. But perhaps none come closer to Irving hitting the turnaround fadeaway in the face of Klay Thompson.
