NBA moves before the deadline was a thriller for NBA fans. Many trades took place out of the blue, giving shock to the fans. One such is the trade of former Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland. The 22-year-old guard was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers last week, joining Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Hyland’s statement on his previous teammates at a press conference continues to receive hate from fans after he arrived at the Clippers. 

Fans believe Hyland has disrespected his former teammate back at Denver while talking about talented players. The young guard was previously traded to the Clippers for two second-round picks, right before the deadline.

In a recent interview, Bones Hyland was asked about his experience, playing with Leonard and PG and how it is different from playing with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. The 6’2 guard’s reply has caught the attention of the NBA buffs. Hyland replied, “It was a great experience playing with Joker. Two guys over here who are phenomenal talents, and over there there’s one guy with phenomenal talent as well.”

The Clippers guard did not seem to include Jamal Murray while talking about talented players, leaving him out of the conversation. Bones Hyland made his debut against the Golden State Warriors. It’s no doubt he is a budding guard. Fans believe Hyland’s words were too much for just his third season in the NBA. Hyland had a great rookie season with the Nuggets last year. The Clippers guard is averaging 12.1 points and 3 assists this season and looks forward to playing a good role for the team. 

A look into Los Angeles Clippers’ recent additions

The Clippers have made a few good additions to the team before the deadline. Eric Gordon, who was with Houston Rockets for several years, was traded for Luke Kennard in a three-team deal. The team also added height by adding Mason Plumlee from the Charlotte Hornets for Reggie Jackson.
