In 1992, Michael Jordan sat down with Arnold Schwarzenegger?s ex-wife Maria Shriver for an interview. The American journalist asked the Chicago Bulls legend’s thoughts on people seeing his life and immediately thinking that they would want to be him for just a day.
“A lot of people say that ‘I’d love to be Michael Jordan for one day’…yea, that’s not fair,” Jordan said right off the bat. He then went on highlight how a single day wouldn’t give one the entire picture. Therefore, they’ll have to be him for a few years to understand everything.

“Try a year. Try two, three, or four years…then you can see the good along with the bad,” claimed the six-time NBA champion.
Michael Jordan might well be embodying the American Dream, but the hardships that come with it are enormous. A single day as MJ would be phenomenal, but as the former player himself asserted, that wouldn’t offer you the bad side of it.
