Blaney expressed that watching an NBA playoff game alongside Michael Jordan was an incredibly thrilling experience for him. He drew a parallel, stating that it felt akin to watching a race with legendary driver Richard Petty. Blaney further emphasized that the NBA legend is unapologetically candid in his assessments. Jordan did not hesitate to express his disapproval with colorful language, saying, “That’s a trash motherfu*ker” if he didn’t like someone’s performance.
Blaney highlighted that Jordan’s competitive spirit and his ability to provide blunt feedback remain undiminished, even as he enters the later stages of his life. The NASCAR driver concluded by affirming that the opportunity to share this experience with Jordan was one of the best and coolest moments of his life.
